about my pages

:-) sometimes there may be images without the typical link indicating border even though there is such a link. it's not your browsers fault, it's my decision to have it in this way because especially small and transparent images look much better without that border. most browsers nevertheless allow you to recognize the link by changing the cursor and displaying the links destination in the statusline when you come across the image with the cursor. so don't hesitate to cursor around to find hidden links (maybe even within this paragraph?).
:-) I use :-) etscape® extensions to HTML on my pages, so if you don't have that browser there may be some features your browser wont recognize. don't worry about that, text should be readable anyway. all (or at least the most) of these features are shown in the following paragraphs. click here :-) to get more information about netscape;
:-) the <FONT SIZE=x> tag allows to change the Size of the used Font. if you see no change of fontsize in these lines, your browser doesn't support this feature.
:-) the tag <HR WIDTH=100 ALIGN=left> should create a horizontal rule with a width of 100 pixels and left alignment. I use it to fix the width of the boring horizontal HTML rules to the width that the imagelines have (that are 582 pixels). if the horizontal rule following to this sentence hasn't the properties as it should have according to the tag, your browser doesn't support this feature (if there is not even any horizontal rule, maybe your browser doesn't support the <HR> tag ;-) ).
:-) if your browser doesn't support the mailto-function, you will not be able to send me a mail by clicking on any word in these sentences. if you have any other possibility to send mail, here is my address:

some explanation for the footer

:-) sends me a mail
:-) shows my homepage
:-) shows this page
:-) will allow you to register your visit of this page and/or to download the sourcecode for my counter (if there is a difference between counter and the image on the left, namely the image on the left shows the predecessor of the countervalue, just reload the image; depending on how your browser executes cgi-programs and due to the local temperature sometimes there will be the same numbers, sometimes not)

:-)

I think that's all. send me some mail if you find anything appearing :-) to you. notice: that doesn't include my english!
